Good to know
A few things before you start.
Is it safe for my LinkedIn account?
YellowSync never acts on LinkedIn for you — no auto-connect, no auto-message, no auto-visit, no scraping, no export. It only notices a message you sent yourself and adds a mark for your team. Profile links never leave your browser in readable form: the server keeps a one-way code, not who the person is.
Does YellowSync send messages for me?
No. You write and send every message yourself. YellowSync observes supported sends and adds marks — it never automates outreach.
Does an unmarked name mean nobody contacted them?
No. A mark can be missing: contact before installation, expired, undetected, or not yet synced. No mark is not proof of no contact.
Will a person match across every LinkedIn page?
Not always. LinkedIn, Recruiter and Sales Navigator can identify the same person differently, and some message types may not be detected. Installations must be working and connected.
What happens to older contact marks?
Your admin sets how long marks stay visible — from 7 days up, default 180. After that the mark stops appearing; dashboard totals can remain.
How do installation and updates work?
Your admin invites each member; the invitation downloads the extension and joins your team. Manual installs: replace the files in the same folder and reload — keep the installation to preserve settings and pending contacts.
